Cold Progress was awarded Best Feature Screenplay at Lake Charles Film Festival (see below). It placed fourth in Breaking Walls Thriller Screenplay Competition in L.A. Q3. Huzzah!

My latest feature script, Cold Progress, takes its first tentative steps. As of today, it is a finalist at Lake Charles Film Festival and Paragon Film & Script Festival, with hopefully more to follow!
TOWERS in Digital Filmmaker Magazine
Towers, the upcoming short I wrote, has been featured in the latest issue of Digital Filmmaker Magazine (29). There is a 5 page feature on the film and the making of. The magazine can be downloaded from iTunes HERE, or brought from WHSmith and Sainsbury’s.

I wrote the script for this short sci-fi drama, which is being produced by Park Road Pictures, with James Boyle producing and Azhur Saleem directing. It was filmed in Dungeness, Kent, and will go on a Festival run in 2016.
Hinterland - Competition Success
My script 'Hinterland' is a Quarter-finalist in the Cinequest Screenwriting Competition. The film is entirely set in an isolated motel over one night, in which a quiet vending-machine attendant with a temper problem is drawn into a murder-plot by a seductress with secrets of her own.
Hinterland was also a Quarter-Finalist in the ever-competitive BlueCat Screenplay Competition.
Cynosure Screenwriting Awards
The Gentle Rise and Fall placed 3rd in The Cynosure Screenwriting Awards 2014, an American competition which rewards screenplays with compelling female protagonists.
Overhead Feature film
The feature I'm writing which has secured funding from Northern Ireland Screen and Slovak Audiovisual Fund, has gone live on IMDb. Check it out.

Hollyoaks wins Best Soap!
Hollyoaks won Best Soap at The British Soap Awards in May, the first time any soap other than big-hitters, Corrie and Eastenders, has done so!
